WHAT DOES DAY-OF-PLANNING ENTAIL?

While this is most commonly referred to as “day-of,” the better description is “coordination for the day of the wedding.” It starts with a comprehensive consultation with the bride at least 4 to 8 weeks prior to your wedding day, but can be contracted even as close as the day before. From there we assemble a detailed timeline for the wedding day and work to ensure that everything comes together just as the bride envisioned it.

Having the peace of mind that every detail will come together as you envisioned is probably the biggest reason to contract our day of coodination services, next to affordability.

We understand the amount of work and stress associated with planning and organizing a wedding, as well as the pressure to have everything run like clockwork. A Wedding "Day of" Coordinator is not the same as a Wedding Planner. The official duty of the "Day of" coordinator is to act as a liaison between the couple and those in charge of the site, facilitating all the planned activities. An effective Day of Coordinator will plan out a checklist of her duties to ensure your ceremony and or reception are ran seamlessly and on time.

At the top of the list of responsibilities is to meet with the bride and groom in order to plan and review the details of their event. The coordinator will then follow those plans accordingly, and in addition coordinate and announce all activities as planned.
